Seventh Annual Military Night this Saturday against Missouri

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans welcome the Missouri Mavericks to Allen Event Center for two games this weekend, as the team will host their seventh annual Military Appreciation Night, brought to you by OrthoTexas on Saturday.
The team will wear military themed jerseys on Saturday, in recognition of the special night. The jerseys will be up for auction after the game, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Folds of Honor and Carry the Load. The Americans will recognize several of our heroes in attendance throughout the night.
"This is one of my favorite nights of the season," said Americans forward Gary Steffes. "The men and women who have served our great country, or who are currently a part of our armed forces deserve to be recognized and honored. I would like to personally say thank you for all you do."
The Americans will have a postgame skate with all the players and Ice Angels following the game, while the auction is going on at ice level. Tickets are on sale at Allen Event Center Box Office or online at www.allenamericans.com. A special military discount will be awarded to anyone who presents a military ID at the box office.
