Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the Club has traded Petr Senkerik to the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a fifth round pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.

"This trade allows us the opportunity to give Luke Paulsen and Jagger Dirk more ice time. By getting down to seven defenseman it allows both of them to continue their development playing their regular positions. We wish Petr all the best in his WHL career and thank him for his contribution to the team," commented Chynoweth.

The ICE are now carrying 22 players, including two goalies, seven defensemen and 13 forwards.
