Blades Reassign Braeden Johnson

The Saskatoon Blades announced that the team has reassigned left winger Braeden Johnson to the Saskatoon Blazers of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Johnson, a 17-year-old from Saskatoon, was in his rookie season in the WHL. In 31 games played this season, the 5'10", 172-pounder has one goal and one assist for two points and 29 penalty minutes. The left winger was selected by the Blades in the 4th round (71st overall) in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.

With the reassignment of Johnson and the acquisitions on trade deadline day, the Blades roster now stands at 14 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 2 goaltenders.
