Rockets Dropped By Blazers

Despite outshooting the Kamloops Blazers 43-25 the Kelowna Rockets fell 4-1 to the Blazers on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

The Rockets trailed 3-1 after the first period before taking over the game, outshooting the Blazers 34-11 in the second and third periods combined.

But Blazers netminder Kurtis Mucha turned all the shots aside in a performance that netted the Blazers the win and Mucha first star honours.

Kelowna captain Lucas Bloodoff was the only Rocket to score, his third in two games since returning from injury.

The Rockets are back in action this coming Friday night when they host the Portland Winterhawks.
