Cougars Trade Viedensky To Saskatoon For Prospect And Draft Picks

Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars have dealt 19-year old import forward Marek Viedensky to the Saskatoon Blades, in exchange for 15-year old goalie Tyler Santos, a third round pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft and a conditional third round pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.

Santos was the Blades tenth selection in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft, taken in the 10th round, 218th overall. Santos is currently playing for the Sherwood Park Kings of the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League.

Viedensky leaves the Cougars after playing in 88 career games, with 28 goals and 32 assists over that time. The Cougars thank Marek for his service to the Cougars both on and off the ice and wish him future success.
