This game is the third of a four-game home stand for the Rampage ... Rockford is one of three new teams to begin play in the American Hockey League this season (joining Lake Erie and Quad City) ... The Rampage will play Rockford six times (3 home, 3 road) this season with Tuesday being the first in the series ... Rockford is the affiliate to the NHL's Chicago Black-hawks ... The Rampage have one connection with Rockford in former Rampage goal
tender Wade Flaherty.
Friday, Oct. 19 vs. Houston Aeros

This will be the first of 10 series match-ups (5 home, 5 road) between the two I-10 rivals this season ... San Antonio went 4-2-0-0 at the AT&T Center last season and was 6-5-0-1 for the 2006-07 season ... This season, Houston has new leadership with head coach Kevin Constantine ... Former Rampage defenseman Serge Payer signed with Houston's NHL affiliate Minnesota over the summer and was recently assigned to the Aeros.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT
GETTING DEFENSIVE: After starting the first two games, Josh Tordjman has allowed only one goal in each game. Tordjman ranks second in the league with his 1.00 goals-against average and 0.966 save-percentage, stopping 56 of 58 shots.
STILL PERFECT: Though only two games in, the Rampage are one of two teams in the West Division still without a loss. San Antonio also started 2-0 in 2003-04 and 2004-05. The Rampage's best start in team history was 4-0 in 2003-04.
FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE: Rampage forward Enver Lisin, who hails from Moscow, Russia, is tied for the team lead with three points (1 goal, 2 assists). Lisin scored the game winning goal on Friday in the third period of San Antonio's 2-1 win over Peoria. Last season Lisin had three points in two games with the Rampage.

- RAMPAGE SLED HOCKEY: Last Friday, CNN came out to feature the Rampage's sled hockey team. CNN will air the segment on the recovering GI's at Brook Army Medical Center on Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
- RAMPAGE SLED HOCKEY II: NBC (National) will be taping a feature on the sled hockey team this Friday.
