Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed defenseman Corey LeClair. A twenty-three year old native of Riverview, Michigan, LeClair scored six goals and picked up twelve assists and ten penalty minutes in twenty-six games last season with Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Prior to that, LeClair, 6'1"/197, played for a season in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League with the Aurora Tigers, where he scored 14 goals and assisted on 33 others (47 points) in forty games. LeClair also played three years in the Ontario Hockey League with Brampton, Guelph, and Sault Ste. Marie. It is expected that LeClair will be in a Royals' uniform tonight when Reading takes on the Trenton Titans at the Sovereign Center.

At tonight's game, the Royals will honor the Reading Phillies baseball team that night by wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. The first 2000 fans 21 years of age and older at Tuesday's game will receive a special "baseball/puck" courtesy of All-Star Distributing. Royals' game day broadcasts can be heard on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata and www.royalshockey.com with pre-game beginning 30 minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available through the Royals' website on a pay per view basis provided by B2 Networks.
