February 21, 2006 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - The ZOOperstars, which in seasons past have featured such characters as Mia Hamster, Peyton Manatee, Ichiroach Suzuki, and Roger Clamens, will entertain during the first and second intermissions this Friday, Feb. 24, when the Fresno Falcons host the Bakersfield Condors at 7 p.m.

The team will be wearing specialty jerseys celebrating Mardi Gras. The jerseys will then be auctioned off following the game with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Hinds Hospice. Also entertaining fans before the game will be the Stone River Band. The entire evening of festivities is presented by AT&T, Mega 97.9, and KSEE 24.

Hinds Hospice was founded in 1981 by Nancy Hinds, who began caring for terminally ill patients in her own home. Now, 25 years later, Hinds Hospice's services have greatly expanded to include a perinatal hospice, formal physician education, and the only inpatient hospice facility in Fresno, Madera, and Merced counties. Hinds Hospice also provides outpatient services in Madera and Merced counties.

Individual tickets for the game against Bakersfield are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office with prices ranging from $8 - $23. For complete ticket information and an arena map of Save Mart Center, visit www.fresnofalcons.com/singletickets.html, or contact the Falcons front office directly at (559) 485-PUCK (7825).
