Wood assigned by Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (February 21, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Tuesday that defenseman Stephen Wood has been assigned by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wood, 24, left the Titans on January 10 ranking second on the team in points (21) and assists (15) in 32 games and also tied for the team lead with nine power play points. The native of Sudbury, Massachusetts has now appeared in 15 games for the Phantoms this season chipping in a goal, three assists and ten penalty minutes.

The Titans return home to face the Wheeling Nailers on Friday, February 24 at 7:30pm.
