
Royals Announce 2011-12 Regular Season Schedule

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are proud to announce that the team's 2011-12 regular season schedule was released today.
The Royals will kick off their 2011-12 schedule on September 23rd when they will host the Vancouver Giants at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Victoria will begin the road portion of their schedule the following evening to complete the home-and-home series with the Giants.
The longest home stretch for the Royals will be from October 28th through November 13th when the team hosts seven games on the island. During that span Victoria will welcome the Seattle Thunderbirds for a pair of games on October 28th and 29th, the Vancouver Giants for a two-game set on November 4th and 5th, the Edmonton Oil Kings on November 8th and the Red Deer Rebels for games on November 12th and 13th.
The team travels east for their longest road trip of the year in January. The Royals kick off the 13-day, six game journey in Regina on January 13th. The team will also have stops in Brandon, Swift Current, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert before ending the trip on January 21st versus Saskatoon.
