Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club released their 2011-12 WHL Regular Season Schedule.
The Broncos kick off the 2011-12 regular season with a home-and-home series against the Regina Pats starting at the Brandt Centre on Friday, September 23rd , then returning to the Credit Union i-Plex on Saturday, September 24th .
The Broncos will play the East Division teams eight times (except for the Regina Pats who they will play only six times) and the Central Division teams four times. The Broncos will host the BC Division teams this season and travel to the United States from November 23rd to 29th . The Broncos final home game of the season will be on Friday, March 16th when they host the
Saskatoon Blades. The Broncos final regular season game will be on Saturday, March 17th when they head to the Credit Union Centre to wrap up their home-and-home series with the Blades.
Over half of the Broncos 36 home games fall on weekends (seven on Friday, 12 on Saturday, three on Sunday). The Broncos also have six Wednesday games more commonly known as Weiner Wednesday! The Broncos have one holiday game on New Year's Day when they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers.
