OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City RedHawks have announced the team has coordinated with Minor League Baseball Charities to launch their "15 For 15" initiative.

From now through June 17, 15 percent of all retail purchases through certain online team stores, including okcredhawks.com, will be donated to the American Red Cross' tornado relief efforts in central Oklahoma.

A total of 51 Minor League Baseball teams across the country have agreed to participate in "15 For 15," with four others providing separate donations.

"We continue to be amazed by the overwhelming support to help the relief efforts here in Oklahoma from the baseball community," RedHawks President/General Manager Michael Byrnes said. "Programs like these done by Minor League Baseball Charities have had a positive impact in the past, and we are happy to work so closely with them now to create a lasting impact in Oklahoma."
