THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, January 13 vs Toronto Marlies @ SBC Center-7:00 p.m.

This will be the first of two meetings between the two clubs. The Toronto Maple Leafs AHL affiliate is currently ranked 4th in the North Division with 41 points and are 20-16-1-0 this season. The Rampage will travel to Toronto for their final meeting Feb. 4. This is the first time the Rampage will face the Marlies ever. Center John Pohl leads the Marlies in scoring with 34 points (19-15=34) in 30 games played.

Sunday, January 15 vs Houston Aeros @ Toyota Center-5:05 p.m.

This will be the eighth meeting (of 12 total) between the two clubs. The Rampage are 1-4-1-1 so far this season against the Minnesota Wild affiliate. San Antonio is 0-2-1-0 against Houston at the Toyota Center this season. The Rampage's only win over the Aeros came at their Oct. 8 home opener. Houston currently leads the West Division and Western Conference with a 26-9-1-1 record and 54 points.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT

POWER-PLAY BLISS: After a six-game drought, the Rampage scored a power-play goal against the Grand Rapids Griffins ending their 0-27 power-playless streak.

THE KILLER B'S: Pavel Brendl and Mike Bishai are both on three-game point streaks. Brendl has collected three goals and two assists for five points as Bishai has tallied one goal and three assists for four points over the last three games.

YOUR FIRST TIME: Jakub Koreis tallied his first goal this season against Grand Rapids as Eric Chouinard assisted on Koreis' goal collecting his first point in his fifth game with the Rampage.

Ice Chips

- SWAT TEAM SWITCH: The Rampage team will switch places with the SWAT Team in a training day as the hockey team will experience the firing range, tactical village and obstacle course. Tuesday, the roles are reversed as the Rampage hold a hockey clinic for the SWAT Team teaching them how to skate, shoot and score.

- NHL EXPERIENCE: The Rampage team has a combined total of 1,062 games played at the NHL level. This season six Rampage players have played with their NHL affiliate Phoenix Coyotes.

Upcoming Promotions

Friday, January 13

Salute to the Badges Night: The Rampage will honor the servicemen and women of the greater San Antonio community by wearing specially designed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. The proceeds will benefit the Alamo Area Fire and Police Memorial (AAFPM) wall. Before the auction, the Old Fat Guy's Men's League hockey team will face off against the San Antonio Fire Department's very own hockey team on the ice following the game.
