NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that they have signed goaltender Scott Reid to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Reid has been playing for the Corpus Christi Rayz (CHL) where he has posted a 9-12-1 record with a 3.06 GAA and a .922 save percentage in 22 games. Earlier this season, Reid made two appearances with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), going 1-1-0 with a 1.64 GAA and a .944 spct. Additionally, he served as a backup goaltender with the Chicago Wolves (AHL) for one game
The Grand Prairie, AB, native stands at 6'3", 185 lbs. and is 29 years old. Reid was an invitee to Norfolk's training camp prior to the season.
