The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled left wings RAMZI ABID (RAM-zee a-BIHD) and KARL STEWART from the Chicago Wolves after reassigning them on Sunday.

ABID is tied for 13th in the American Hockey League with a team-leading 37 points, seventh in the league with nine power-play tallies and paces the Wolves with 17 goals in 33 contests.

The 25-year-old forward has collected one assist and two penalty minutes in two games with the Thrashers this season. Overall, the Montreal native has tallie up 13 goals and 24 points in 51 National Hockey League games with the Phoenix Coyotes (2002-03), Pittsburgh Penguins (2002-2004) and Atlanta (2005-06).

STEWART shares second on the Wolves with 10 goals and ranks sixth on the club with 64 penalty minutes in 29 games.

The Aurora, Ontario, native has racked up 11 penalty minutes in six games spanning two stints with Atlanta this year. Overall, he has accumulated 15 penalty minutes in 11 NHL games with the Thrashers (2003 - present).
