San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO (April 2, 2014) - The San Antonio Rampage will close out the 2013-14 campaign of the Face Off Against Kids Cancer program when it hosts the Lake Erie Monsters this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.

The program pairs Rampage hockey players with children from the Centers for Oncology and Blood Disorders at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio. Throughout the season, the Rampage hosted a series of events in an effort to forge lasting relationships and raise awareness for children's cancer in the community. Rampage players participated in several Face Off Against Kids Cancer events this season as a team and individually, including two CiCi's Pizza parties with program families and an event at the Bluebonnet Palace featuring face painting, a photo booth and a DJ.

Earlier in the season, the team held a post-game jersey auction that raised more than $15,000 for the Little Fighter Foundation and Face Off Against Kids Cancer. The program has raised more than $65,000 since its inception in 2009.

The 2013-14 campaign will culminate on Saturday with a pre-game ceremony on the AT&T Center ice. Additionally, the Rampage players will wear a special Face Off Against Kids Cancer decal on their helmets to honor the kids in the program. The initials "AP" will be included in the decal in recognition of one of the program participants who is battling terminal cancer. Saturday will also be Kids' Night presented by Kelloggs at the AT&T Center, as all young fans are invited to participate in various activities at the arena prior to the game. Festivities for Kids' Night begin at 2 p.m. and include an open skate, photo opportunities with T-Bone, the Spurs Championship trophies, and much more.

Tickets for Kids' Night start at $18. Individual and season tickets can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
