SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage matched the Iowa Stars' 24 shots on goal but the Stars pulled out a 3-2 win over the Rampage at the AT&T Center Thursday night. The Rampage have had 30 games decided by only one goal this season as the two teams traded goals throughout the night.

After Iowa scored a power-play goal in the opening period, Steve Gainey evened the score just 33 seconds into the second. Eric Chouinard and Frantisek Lukes were awarded with the assists on Gainey's 10th goal of the season. Lukes' assist was his first point since rejoining the team Feb. 26.

After Gainey's second goal in as many games, the Stars regained the lead 1:53 later heading into the final frame.

Mike Bishai took advantage of Yared Hagos' hooking penalty 3:45 into the closing period to even out the score. Pascal Rheaume and Pavel Brendl tallied assists on Bishai's fourth power-play goal of the season before Iowa's Dan Jancevski recorded the game-winning goal six minutes later.

Both teams will face off again Saturday at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m.
