Klein Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Kevin Klein from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, Milwaukee Admirals Executive Vice-President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced that the team has signed defensemen TJ Kemp.

Klein leads Milwaukee defensemen with 38 points (9g-29a) in 61 games this season. The 6-1, 195-pound Kitchener, Ont. native made his NHL debut with Nashville on December 3 vs. Philadelphia, logging 13:56 of ice time. Klein was originally Nashville's third choice, 37th overall (second round), in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Kemp has 36 points (12g-24a) and 44 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Reading Royals of the ECHL this season. The Pickering, ONT native has played six total AHL contests this year with the Peoria Rivermen and Iowa Stars.

The Admirals make their next appearance at the Bradley Center on Friday at 7:00 pm versus the Cleveland Barons.
