
Knights Auction Kansas Speedway Tickets To Benefit Charitable Foundation

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that they are currently holding an on-line auction of two season tickets to the 2006 racing season at Kansas Speedway. The seats are located near the Start/Finish line in section 102, Row 24. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Charitable Foundation.
Bids can be made by visiting the Knights' official web site, omahaaksarbenknights.com, and scrolling over the "Knights Gear" button at the top of the page. Fans should then click on "Auctions" from the drop down menu. Bids must be made in $10 increments. The auction will close on Sunday, April 2nd at 10:00 p.m. Central time.
The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the hockey club. Its mission is to positively affect the greater Omaha area by supporting community-based charitable organizations and the people they serve. The Foundation is run by a governing board consisting of six members of the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights ownership-the Calgary Flames and the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben.
The Knights return to action on Saturday when they host the Cleveland Barons at 7:00 p.m. The first 500 fans will receive a free Miller Lite t-shirt. The Knights will welcome the West Division-leading Houston Aeros on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. and then hit the road for games in San Antonio on Monday and Wednesday, March 13 and 15.
Tickets for all home games are available at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is open through the opening face-off on game nights. Tickets may also be purchased through any Ticketmaster outlet, by phone at (402) 422-1212 or at Ticketmaster.com. Group tickets for the game may be purchased through the Knights office or by calling (402) 344-4625.
