Taticek traded to Pittsburgh

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros center Petr Taticek has been traded from the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Taticek had been loaned to the Aeros by the Panthers on October 15.

Taticek, 22 (9/22/83), posted career bests in points (30), goals (nine) and assists (21) in 44 games with Houston. He also made his NHL debut this season, playing in three games with the Panthers without registering a point. Taticek was selected ninth overall by Florida in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Florida received Ric Jackman in return for Taticek.
