MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today that goaltender, Patrik Bartosak, has been assigned to the Monarchs by the Ontario Reign (AHL) on a conditioning assignment.

Bartosak, a native of Koprivnice, Czech Republic, has not played a game this season for the Reign.

Last season, Bartosak played in 28 games for the Monarchs (AHL), posting a 13-8-5 record, a 2.23 GAA and a .919 save percentage as the primary back-up to J.F. Berube.

Bartosak relieved an injured Berube last season during the Calder Cup Finals, winning two games, including the decisive Game 5 to clinch the Calder Cup Championship. Bartosak was drafted #146 overall (round 5) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings.

Prior to the Monarchs, Bartosak played for the Red Deer Rebels (WHL), winning the Del Wilson Trophy for Top Goaltender in the WHL for the 2012-13 season.

Bartosak will be available for tomorrow night's contest (7 p.m.) against the Toledo Walleye in the annual "Mullets in Movember" game.
