Ontario Holds on 2-1 over Utah

Ontario, California - The Ontario Reign (33-17-4-5) defeated the Utah Grizzlies (30-23-5-3) 2-1 Saturday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Ontario broke a scoreless tie with two goals in 1:25 at 11:12 and 12:37 of the second period on second efforts in the Utah zone.
Utah made it 2-1 as Mathieu Aubin fed Alex Krushelnyski for his 13th goal from the right circle with 7:36 left in regulation but the Grizzlies were unable to tie. Brendan Walker worked in late on a backhander but was denied by Ontario goaltender Joe Cannata who made several big saves on the night.
Grizzlies goaltender Igor Bobkov stopped 27 of 29 in the contest.
The Grizzlies complete the trip Sunday in Ontario at 4 p.m.
