Aces Sign Defenseman Scott Warner

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces announced today that the team has signed free agent defenseman Scott Warner.

Warner, 26, is expected to suit up for the Aces tonight in a 7:15 p.m. game (GCI/KFQD) against the Colorado Eagles at Sullivan Arena. Tickets are on sale at The Aces Store (corner of 15th/Gambell), local Fred Meyer locations and online at www.alaskaaces.com/tickets.

The 5-foot-9, 174 pound defenseman has one assist and a +3 rating in four games with the Aces this season. He has also suited up in 129 career games in college with the University of Alaska-Anchorage (NCAA) and Army and earned 40 points (14g-26) while serving as captain of the Seawolves as a 2011-12 junior. That season, Warner earned a career-high 15 points and 13 assists.

Warner made his pro debut with the Stockton Thunder in the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs, suiting up in one game.
