
Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Look to Make ECHL History

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays celebrate Military Appreciation Night and look to set the record for the longest winning streak in ECHL history tonight against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the 15 of 16 meetings between to the two East-Division rivals this season.
Making History:
The Stingrays are riding a 17-game winning streak and are one win away from longest winning streak in ECHL history. Last night, the Stingrays set the longest road winning streak in league history with their 11th consecutive road victory, defeating the Gladiators 4-0 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center.

Military Appreciation Night:
The Stingrays honor the men and women of the Armed Forces tonight on Military Appreciation Night presented by APECS Aerospace Corporation, Precision Airparts Support Services, United Aeronautical Corporation, U.S. Technical and Heritage Pools. WCW and WWE Champion Ric Flair will fire up the crowd and sign autographs during the first period as the Stingrays skate in special "Stars and Stripes" jerseys and auction them off after the contest to benefit America's Mighty Warriors. The first 2,500 fans into the Coliseum receive an America's Mighty Warriors rally towel. Military tickets are $7 at the Coliseum Box Office with ID! Buy Tickets
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays are 11-3-0-0 against the Gladiators this season and won 11 of the last 12 contests. The Stingrays and Gladiators close the regular-season series tomorrow afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum. All time, the Stingrays sit with a 77-53-13 record.

Game Notes
Tomorrow, Sunday, March 15, the Stingrays host their first ever Undie Sunday benefiting the Carolina Youth Development Center against the Gladiators at 3:05 at the Coliseum. Bring new, packaged diapers, men's, women's and kid's underwear along with socks and other undergarments to throw on the ice after the Stingrays score their first goal of the game, similar to Teddy Bear Toss.
Sunday is also Mascot Mania and Crews Subaru Family Day featuring $5 kids tickets and $5 kids meals! Meet all of your favorite mascots from around the Lowcountry! Bring your ice skates for the Health First Postgame Skate with the Stingrays.
