BEAST MODE

The Oilers and Beast face off for the seventh meeting of the season in the front end of a back-to-back weekend series at the BOK Center. Tulsa is a flawless 6-0-0 against Brampton this season and 4-0-0 on home ice. The Oilers have never lost to the Beast in Tulsa (7-0-0) and hold a 28-11 edge in goals scored in the season series. Tulsa has recorded four goals or more in each of the previous six contests while holding Brampton to two goals or fewer in five of the six outings. Drew Fisher leads the Oilers with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in six games against the Beast. The two clubs will conclude their regular season series at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday.

PATRIOTIC PAGEANTRY

Tonight the Oilers will pay tribute to the brave men and women of America's armed forces on Budweiser Military Night presented by the Oklahoma National Guard. The Oilers' special patriotic-themed jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game with proceeds going to the Folds of Honor Foundation which provides scholarships for children of soldiers killed or wounded in service to our country.

DECISIVE THIRD PRODUCES WIN

Tied with Wichita 1-1 entering the third period on Friday night, the Oilers picked up two goals in the span of just 12 seconds from Adam Pleskach and Brady Ramsay to swing the game in their favor. Kevin Carr stood tall with 35 saves and Tulsa earned a crucial 4-1 victory to move within two points of the final playoff spot in the Central Division. Tommy Mele's empty net tally made him the fourth Oiler this season to reach the 20-goal plateau while rookie center Jeff Jubinville extended his point streak to seven games.

NO MARGIN FOR ERROR

With 14 games remaining in the regular season, the second place through fifth place teams in the Central Division are separated by only five points. The Oilers are two points behind the Wichita Thunder for fourth place and three points back of the third place Rapid City Rush. The Thunder visits Quad City tonight and the Rush is at home against the Allen Americans. At 7-3-0, the Oilers have the best record in the division over the last 10 games.

TEXTBOOK PLESKY

Second-year forward Adam Pleskach scored two goals on Friday night to record his ninth multi-goal game of the season. The Manitoba native ranks second in the ECHL with 33 goals and has tied his goal total from his outstanding rookie campaign of 2013-14. Pleskach has eight goals in the last eight games and is riding a three-game point streak.

LOCK IT UP

The Oilers have surrendered only one goal in the last six periods of hockey and goaltender Kevin Carr has played a huge role in the recent defensive success. The 24-year old has stopped 66 of the last 67 shots he's faced, a .985 save percentage. Carr, who is 5-1-0 in his last six starts, ranks second in the league with 41 appearances and leads all rookie netminders with 23 wins.
