Oklahoma City Blue Selects Walker, Alexander II and Kone on NBA G League Draft Day

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct. 26, 2019 - The Oklahoma City Blue selected three players in the 2019 NBA G League Draft today; forwards Wyatt Walker and Courtney Alexander II and guard Bazoumana Koné.

Walker (6-9, 240), the 25th overall pick, transferred to North Carolina State for the 2018-19 season where he appeared in 36 games (35 starts) and averaged 4.8 points on 58.5 percent field goal shooting and 4.5 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game.

Alexander II (6-8, 205) was selected 53rd overall. The Tennessee Tech product appeared in 31 games (all starts) during his senior season and averaged a career-high 7.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 28.3 minutes per game.

Koné (6-3, 180), the 81st overall pick, spent the 2018-19 season with Basketball Lowen Braunschweig of the German BBL where he appeared in 19 games and averaged 5.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 12.5 minutes per contest.
