
Knicks Draft Tyler Hall, Complete Trade

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, drafted two selections during the 2019 NBA G League Draft held Saturday, October 26.
Selected fourth overall, Tyler Hall, 6'5, 201, averaged 20.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists as a senior at Montana State in 2018-19. Over his four-year career, the Rock Island, IL native averaged 20.0 points on 44.8-percent shooting, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 126 games played. Hall started all but two games with the Bobcats.
The Knicks also picked Kerwin Roach II 22nd overall whose rights were immediately traded to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, for the rights to Tim Bond and Kavin Gilder-Tilbury. This trade is not subject to a physical.
Bond, 6'7, 160, averaged 5.7 points on 34.5-percent shooting, 3.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 17.2 minutes in the NBA G League last season. With the Vipers, Bond scored 3.0 ppg in 4.8 mpg during their postseason run. At Eastern Michigan (2014-18), Bond set the single-season and career records for steals. He was also named to the All-MAC Defensive Team three consecutive times.
Gilder-Tilbury, 6'7, 210, has spent the last two seasons in Germany after graduating from Texas State in 2017. During his four-year collegiate career, Gilder-Tilbury averaged 10.8 points on 45.1-percent shooting, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in a little over 26 minutes per game. Most recently with Rhein Stars Koln in Germany's second division, the Houston, Texas native averaged 13.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.7 blocks per 29 games played.
The Westchester Knicks open Training Camp at the MSG Training Facility, Monday, October 28.
