Windy City Bulls Select Three Players in 2019 NBA G League Draft

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, acquired three players in the 2019 NBA G League Draft today.

Windy City selected Lamous Brown (7-0 / 220 / Shaw University), with the second pick in the third round of Saturday's draft (58th overall). Brown is a Chicago native who attended Morgan Park High School.

Windy City made two selections in the fourth round, picking Jordan Adams (6-5 / 220 / UCLA) with the 14th pick (98th overall) and Trey Phills (6-5 / 185 / Yale) with the 18th pick (102nd overall).

Adams was selected 22nd overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Adams played in 30 games with the Grizzlies during the 2014-15 season, including 4 playoff games, He also saw action in 11 games with the Iowa Energy that season. Most recently, the Atlanta, GA native played with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in 2018-19.

Phills, the son of late NBA veteran Bobby Phills, averaged 6.8 points per game, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists during his career with Yale, where he was named to the All-Ivy League's Second Team. The Charlotte, NC native was also one of ten student athletes named to the NABC Coaches 2019 Give-Back Team, which recognizes outstanding community service efforts.

Windy City's roster now stands at 13, with the 2019-20 Windy City Bulls season beginning on November 9, at the Wisconsin Herd. Windy City with play a preseason game vs. the Iowa Wolves on November 1 in Rockford, IL, and open their home schedule on Saturday, November 9 at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

The NBA G League will enter its 19th season, with 28 teams competing over a 50-game schedule, following the addition of the expansion College Park Skyhawks, affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks. The Erie Bayhawks, who were previously associated with Atlanta are now affiliated with the New Orleans Pelicans.
