AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, selected Isaiah Reese (No. 6, Round 1) and Kaleb Johnson (No. 9, Round 2) in the 2019 NBA G League Draft. Following the draft, the team traded the player rights to Reese and a 2020 second round pick in exchange for the player rights to Kavion Pippen from the Santa Cruz Warriors.

"In my first season as General Manager, I'm grateful for all of the hard work that the Austin and San Antonio basketball operations staff put in to make our draft successful today," said Austin Spurs General Manager Landry Fields. "I'm looking forward to the start of Training Camp and finalizing our roster for Opening Night."

Pippen (C, 6-10, 240) was signed by the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 7, and later signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors as an affiliate. He averaged 12.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 blocks throughout two seasons (2017-19) at Southern Illinois University and was named to the All-MVC Third Team and MVC All-Defensive Team during his senior season.
