Martin Promoted to White Sox on Tuesday

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- RHP Davis Martin was added by the Chicago White Sox to serve as the team's 27th player for the split doubleheader today at Cleveland.
With the White Sox this season, Martin is 1-2 with a 4.29 ERA in five games (two starts) over 21.0 innings pitched. Martin will start game one of today's split doubleheader for the White Sox against the Cleveland Guardians from Cleveland, OH.
Martin, 25, has made seven starts with the Knights this season and owns a 3-2 record with a 4.01 ERA over 33.2 innings pitched. He began the 2022 season with Double-A Birmingham and went 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in five starts with the Barons (24.0 IP).
So far this season, a total of 12 different players have been promoted to Chicago from Charlotte.
