
Marlies Finish Weekend with 3-2 Win over Lake Erie

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, by a score of 3-2 in a shootout tonight at Ricoh Coliseum.
Lake Erie opened the scoring at 10:09 of the first period when Andrew Agozzino scored on a man advantage. The Monsters would make it 2-0 when Cam Reid notched his second goal of the season just five minutes later. Stuart Percy tallied his first goal of the year at 18:12 of the opening frame to cut Lake Erie's lead to one. After a scoreless second period, Jamie Devane tied the game at two early in the final frame. Spencer Abbott and Brandon Kozun scored for Toronto in the shootout, while Drew MacIntyre stopped all four Lake Erie shooters.
