Goals:

- Zach Miskovic takes a slap shot from the point which is deflected in front by Derek Ryan past Connor Hellebuyck at 1:26 of the first period.

- Scott Kosmachuk streaks down the right side and shoots far side past Checkers goaltender John Muse at 12:56 of the second period.

- While on the powerplay, John Albert passes in front to Scott Kosmachuk who takes a quick shot that beats Muse at 7:35 of the third period.

Highlights/Notes:

- Scott Kosmachuk had his second multi-goal game of the season and third of his AHL career. It was his third goal in two games since being re-assigned by the Winnipeg Jets. In total, Kosmachuk has five goals in his last five AHL games.

- Scott Kosmachuk now leads all Moose players in goals with 17.

- With an assist in the game, John Albert recorded his 150th career AHL point. He has one goal and three assists in his last four games.

- Brenden Kichton extended his point streak to three games with an assist. In his last five games he has three goals and two assists. He currently sits 16th among AHL defencemen in scoring with nine goals and 26 assists for 35 points.

- Sean Escobedo recorded his first point as a member of the Moose in just his second game with the team.

- Connor Hellebuyck won his fourth consecutive start in the Manitoba net. In his last four starts he has a 0.75 goals against average and a .972 save percentage.

- The Moose were perfect on the penalty kill for the fourth straight game. During that span they have gone a perfect 13-for-13.

- The Moose finish their season series against the Checkers with a 3-4-1-0 record.
