Ritchie Reassigned to San Diego

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that left wing Nick Ritchie has been reassigned by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate.

Ritchie, 20 (12/5/95), was recalled by Anaheim on Feb. 12 and appeared in 20 games with the Ducks. A native of Orangeville, Ontario, Ritchie scored his first career NHL goal on Mar. 14 vs. New Jersey. The 6-2, 232-pound forward has appeared in 31 games with Anaheim this season, collecting 1-1=2 points with 37 penalty minutes (PIM). Ritchie has also appeared in 33 games with San Diego this season, recording 15-13=28 points with 55 PIM. The rookie winger leads the Gulls in power play goals (8) and ranks tied for second in goals.
