St. John's IceCaps News Release


TORONTO, ON - The Toronto Marlies fired three powerplay goals en route to a 4-0 decision over the St. John's IceCaps Tuesday night at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, ON.

Antoine Bibeau became the first goalie to keep the IceCaps off the scoresheet this season, stopping 21 St. John's shots. IceCaps netminder Eddie Pasquale kicked aside 30 of 34 Marlies drives. After a scoreless first period, the Marlies connected twice in the second period and twice more in the third.

Defenceman Tom Parisi made his pro debut, wearing number five for St. John's. The IceCaps finish off their regular season with a six-game homestand, starting Friday (7:30 PM) versus the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
