
Maleyko To Replace Brindley in 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game

Cincinnati, OH-The ECHL announced today that Cyclones defenseman Jason Maleyko has been selected to replace the injured Ryan Brindley on the Eastern Conference All-Star team for this Wednesday's Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game.
Maleyko joined the Clones last Friday after being acquired from the Reading Royals in exchange for Reagan Rome. Maleyko appeared in three Clones games this weekend recording an assist and two penalty minutes. Maleyko has eight assists and 40 penalty minutes in 39 ECHL games this season.
Maleyko replaces Ryan Brindley who was slated to start the game on defense for the Eastern Conference. Brindley has been sidelined for the last three Clones games. On the season, Brindley has nine goals and 19 assists for 28 points in 36 games.
The 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be held at the 9,919-seat Carver Arena at Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. Hosted by the Peoria Rivermen and presented by the Par-A-Dice Hotel & Casino, the Skills Competition will be held at 7 p.m. on January 20 while the 12th Annual ECHL All-Star Game will be played at 7 p.m. on January 21.
