
Cox Communications Mardi Gras Night Set for February 14th

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the new ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, is proud to announce that Saturday, February 14th is Cox Communications Mardi Gras Night when the Ice Pilots play home to the Louisiana IceGators at 7:05 p.m.
A Mardi Gras Parade will take place on the ice during the intermission sponsored by Cox Communications with plenty of beads and goodies for everyone. Any Krewes or groups that would like to be involved in the Mardi Gras Parade on ice should call Jolene Tiz at the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825.
Friday night is Military Night as the Ice Pilots would like to say Thank You to all the military men and women that play a major part in the defending of our freedom and country. All Military will receive up to a $5 discount with I.D. The Flying Rifles Drill Team will perform and an exciting Wing eating contest will take place. The first 1,000 fans will receive a mini-American Cheer Flag.
Saturday night is Hill Kelly Dodge NASCAR Night. Bill Elliots #9 Dodge NASCAR will be on display along with local NASCARS. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free racing flag.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets and birthday parties, fans can call 432-PUCK.
