
Par-A-Dice All-Star Game Replacement Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. â The ECHL on Monday announced that Cincinnati defenseman Jason Maleyko has replaced teammate Ryan Brindley on the Eastern Conference roster for the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game.
Sponsored by the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino and hosted by the Peoria
Rivermen, the 12th Annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be
held at the 9,919-seat Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria,
Ill. The Skills Competition will be at 7:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, January 20
and the game will be played at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, January 21.

Selected in the sixth round (188th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in
the 2000 National Hockey League Draft, Maleyko has one assist in three
games since being acquired by Cincinnati in a trade with Reading. In his
first professional season, the 23-year-old Maleyko scored seven points
(0g-7a) in 36 games with Reading.
