- Toledo elevated to seventh in the standings by collecting 4 out of a possible 6 points this weekend.

- Doug Teskey made his twenty-second consecutive start Sunday against Cincinnati. Doug is 8-10-3 with 3.02 goals against average and a .897 save percentage in those games. Doug's 1-0 shutout of the Dayton Bombers Friday night was the first shutout of the year for a Toledo goaltender.

- Welcome back to Chris Gignac! Chris made a stellar return to Toledo this weekend netting two goals in the three games he played this weekend. Chris spent time in Toledo from 1998-2000.

- Rick Judson continues to move closer to Andrew Williamson on the Toledo Storm all-time goal-scoring list. Rick's second period goal Saturday night was his eighth of the season and one hundred seventy eight in a Storm uniform. Judson is just 12 goals shy of Williamson.

- Alexandre Jacques did not register a point in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Cincinnati. That ended a six game home point streak for Jacques. The six game streak is tied for the longest home point streak in the ECHL this season.

- As a result of Sunday's loss to the Cyclones, Toledo continues to be winless on Sunday. Toledo is 0-6-1 in Sunday contests.

- Toledo continues to be strong in one-goal games this season (9-3-4).

- The Toledo Storm was out shot in 2 of the 3 contests this weekend. Toledo is 7-12-1 when out shot this season.

- Toledo has netted a power play goal in four straight games, which is a season high. Toledo now has 22 power play goals in 180 attempts (12.2%). Toledo is ranked 27th in the ECHL.

- The Storm penalty kill unit is ranked 12th in the ECHL, killing off 161 of 190 chances against.

- Toledo is 8-8-1 at home this season and 8-10-3 on the road.

- The Storm will be on the road Friday night in Cincinnati before heading home to take on Wheeling Saturday and Johnstown Sunday.

- Due to the All-Star break the Toledo Storm coaches show will not air this week.

STORM PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Rick Judson (1 goal - 1 assist = 2 points)

Rick had a solid weekend playing with new comers Chris Gignac and Marco Charpentier. It was Judson's goal at 5:00 of the second period Saturday night that gave the Storm a 2-1 lead in route to a 5-2 win over Dayton. That goal was first of 3 the Storm would go on to score in a span of 9 minutes and 57 seconds.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Doug Teskey (2-1-0, 1.34 gaa, 0.949 save%)

Doug ran his consecutive starts streak to 22 after this past week. Doug's terrific play helped the Storm to back - to - back wins against the Dayton Bombers. Friday night Teskey stopped all 28 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season. On Saturday night, Doug was very sharp early holding Dayton to just 1 goal before the Storm exploded for 5 consecutive goals.
