SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned defenseman Jacob Larsson to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Larsson, 22 (4/29/97), collected 1-2=3 points with eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 25 games with the Ducks this season. The 6-2, 190-pound defenseman made his NHL debut in the 2016-17 season and has since earned 1-7=8 points with 26 PIM in 78 career NHL games with Anaheim.
Selected by Anaheim in the first round (27th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Larsson owns 3-20=23 points with a +7 rating and 32 PIM in 76 career AHL games with San Diego. The Ljungby, Sweden native has also appeared in 17 career Calder Cup Playoff games, recording 2-5=7 points with a +6 rating and four PIM.
