Koopmans Heads North To Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that goaltender Logan Koopmans has been recalled by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

Koopmans, the native of Cranbrook, BC, just made his return to the nets for the first time since December 9th last night with a 32 save 4-3 win against Trenton. Logan has posted a 10-4-0 record with 1 shutout, a 2.82 goals against average, and a .914 save percentage with Toledo this season. The shutout came on October 20th, a 2-0 win over the Dayton Bombers. The Grand Rapids Griffins play tonight in Syracuse, before traveling to Rochester on Sunday.
