
Grizzlies Fall Short Of Sweep

West Valley City, Utah - The Texas Wildcatters defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-0 Saturday night at the E-Center as they broke open a 2-0 third period score with four consecutive goals. Utah finished the weekend series 2-1 versus Texas.
Texas outshot the Grizzlies 26-8 through two periods as they built a two-goal lead.
The Wildcatters scored two goals in the first 1:33 of the third period to build a 4-0 lead.
The second-half of the third saw five fights as the two teams combined for 97 penalty minutes and Texas added two more goals.
The Grizzlies return to the E-Center Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hosting Bakersfield. Face-offs all three nights are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
