(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights dropped the finale of a six-game series against the Memphis Redbirds by a score of 5-1 on Sunday evening from Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte. The loss was Charlotte's fifth in the six-game series.

RHP Chase Solesky (0-6, 7.88) started the finale for the Knights and was charged with the loss. He allowed three runs on five hits over 5.1 innings pitched.

Offensively, the Knights tallied just four hits on the afternoon. Charlotte's lone run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth inning when Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoán Moncada scored on an error. For Memphis, the team scattered five runs on nine hits en route to the victory. Second baseman Nick Dunn recorded his first home run of the season, a solo blast in the top of the eighth inning. RHP Logan Gragg earned the win after he tossed seven impressive innings. He allowed three hits and one unearned run.

The Knights will now have an off day on Monday before heading to Durham, NC to open a six-game series against the Durham Bulls (Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) on Tuesday.
