Kings Recall Boyle

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled forward Brian Boyle from the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Boyle, 24, has two points (1-1=2) and 18 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Kings this season. In addition, the 6-foot-7, 252-pound native of Hingham, Massachusetts, has 21 points (10-11=21) and 73 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Monarchs this season and he shares the team lead with six power-play goals. Boyle, selected by the Kings in the first-round (26th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, has seven points (5-2=7) and 22 penalty minutes in 28 career NHL games - all with the Kings.
