Josephson, Wutzke Selected for World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

RED DEER - Two Red Deer Rebels have been selected to play at the 2022 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Langley and Delta, B.C.

Centre Ollie Josephson ('06) was selected in the first round, fifth overall by the Rebels at the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft last December and is currently on the club's main roster. The Victoria, B.C. native has a goal and two assists in seven games this season.

Goaltender Chaze Wutzke ('06) was selected in round two, 40th overall by the Rebels at the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft last December. He appeared in three regular season games with the club last season, going 2-0-1-0. A native of Debden, SK, Wutzke is currently with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA of the SMAAAHL.

Josephson will play for Canada White while Wutzke will suit up for Canada Red.

The 2022 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge goes from Nov. 3-12.
