Colton Roberts to Represent Canada

Vancouver Giants defenceman Colton Roberts

Roberts, the 11th Overall selection by the Giants in the first round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, has already become a key contributor on the blueline for the Giants. Roberts is the reigning CSSHL Defenceman of the Year and made 5 regular season appearances with the Giants as a 15-year-old. Roberts scored his first WHL goal on October 1, 2022 in Seattle vs the Thunderbirds.

The Vancouver Giants are pleased with the opportunity Colton has earned from his hard work, dedication and solid play in the WHL," said Giants General Manager Barclay Parneta. "It will be a great experience playing at the international level. He will have a ton of support from Giants fans, family and friends.
