The Johnstown Chiefs (15-13-10; 40 PTS; 6th North div.) had a light schedule last week due to the ECHL all-star break as they played only one game, a 4-1 win at Atlantic City on Sunday. This week the Chiefs return home for the first time in two weeks as they play three home games in three nights. Friday night they host Atlantic City, Saturday night they host the San Diego Gulls and Sunday afternoon the Peoria Rivermen. Sunday's game will have a special start time of 1:00 p.m. the Chiefs remain in sixth place in the North division, trailing fifth place Trenton by five points and fourth place Reading by nine points.

Game #38 (1/30/05) Johnstown 4 - ATLANTIC CITY 1 James Goal, Assist

The Chiefs played their fifth straight road game Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 4-1. Mike James and Joe Tallari each had a goal and an assist. Jean Desrochers and Shawn Mather also scored for the Chiefs. David Currie got the win making 40 saves. Former Chief Jason Notermann scored Atlantic City's goal.

The Chiefs return to the War Memorial Friday night when they host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (22-12-6, 50 PTS; T-2nd North div.). The Chiefs are 2-1-1 against Atlantic City this season and 10-9-3 all-time. Atlantic City is just 2-6-2 in their last ten games. Sat. Feb. 5 vs. San Diego Gulls 7:00 p.m. Radio: WNTJ 850-AM, WNTW 990-AM, www.johnstownchiefs.com and www.b2now.com Saturday night the Chiefs will take on the San Diego Gulls (22-14-4, 48 PTS; T-4th North div.) for the first time ever. San Diego is 7-3-0 in their last ten games.

Photos with the car will be available.........First 1,500 fans will receive a limited edition Coca-Cola NASCAR poster..........Greater Johnstown Jaycees Food Drive. All fans are encouraged to bring a can or non-perishable food item to the game for collection............FREE Fresh Beer tasting. One day old Budweiser and Bud Light will be available for a free tasting behind the party pit and at the section 22 concession stand, sponsored by Von's United Beverage.. Sunday afternoon the Chiefs close out the weekend when they take on the Peoria Rivermen (17-16-4, 38 PTS;, 7th North div.). The Chiefs are 2-0-0 against the Rivermen this season. Peoria is 6-3-1 in their last ten games.

PROMO: Sunday is Heluva Good Quality Foods Kid's Sunday. All children's tickets (ages 12 and under) are just $1. Following the game there will be a "Skate with the Chiefs," and autograph session with the entire team. Skate Rentals will not be available..........The game is also another season ticket holder redemption day. Season ticket holders that have any unused tickets from this season, may exchange them for an equal amount of tickets for this game.......Due to the Super Bowl, Sunday's game will begin at 1:00 p.m.

- The Chiefs snapped an eight game, 0 for 40 drought on the power play Sunday afternoon when they scored two goals on the man advantage

- The Chiefs will play just six of their next seventeen games at home.

- P.L. Courchesne and Shawn Mather are both +5 in their last five games.
