American Conference - East Division
Augusta Lynx
* Lynx allowed seven power-play goals in December and 14 in January.
* Augusta is the league leader in fewest penalty minutes with 16.3
per-game.
* Lynx play at Florida on Tuesday and return home to host Florida on Friday
and Saturday.
Charlotte Checkers
* Checkers improved goals-against average from 3.49 in December to 2.67 in
January.
* Eduard Pershin had 10 points and was +5 in Charlotte's seven-game win
streak (January 7-21).
* Checkers are home against Pee Dee on Friday and Dayton on Saturday.
Columbia Inferno
* 2003-04 ECHL leading scorer Tim Smith had an assist in his first game
back on Friday.
* Inferno went from +49 and 1.89 goals-against in December to -32 and 3.32
goals-against in January.
* Inferno hosts South Carolina on Tuesday, Greenville on Friday and Pee Dee
on Saturday.
Greenville Grrrowl
* Grrrowl have the highest road winning percentage (.595) in the East
Division.
* Vladimir Gusev and Scotty Balan both finished at +5 in 6-1 win over Texas
on Friday.
* Greenville plays at Columbia on Friday and at South Carolina on Saturday.
Pee Dee Pride
* Jan Vodrazka will play in his 500th professional game on Friday at
Charlotte.
* Pride has allowed the game's first goal in each of the last four games.
* Pride travels to Gwinnett on Tuesday, Charlotte on Friday and Columbia on
Saturday.
South Carolina Stingrays
* South Carolina is 34 percent on the power play in January, up from 14
percent in December.
* Stingrays have averaged 3.7 goals-per game and set a club record with 10
straight victories.
* Stingrays play at Columbia on Tuesday and host Gwinnett on Friday and
Greenville on Saturday.
National Conference - West Division
Alaska Aces
* Scott Gomez leads the ECHL with 44 assists and ranks third in scoring
with 51 points.
* Chris Minard scored his league-leading 29th goal in 4-3 win against Idaho
on Sunday.
* Alaska hosts Bakersfield on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Bakersfield Condors
* Yutaka Fukufuji ranks fifth in the ECHL with 16 wins.
* Lars-Peder Nagel is tied for fourth in rookie scoring with 37 points
(15g-22a).
* Bakersfield visits Alaska on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Fresno Falcons
* Shaun Sutter is tied for the league lead with 10 power-play goals.
* Falcons goaltender Jamie Hodson leads the ECHL with five shootout wins.
* Fresno visits Victoria on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Idaho Steelheads
* Frank Doyle stopped 20-of-21 shots and was named MVP at the ECHL All-Star
Game.
* Steelheads penalty-kill ranks sixth in the ECHL at 86.3 percent
(177-for-205).
* Idaho hosts Long Beach on Friday and Saturday.
Las Vegas Wranglers
* Dustin Johner is tied for second among league rookies with 18 goals.
* Ryan Gaucher (9g-17a) and Jason McBain (5g-21a) are tied for sixth in
scoring by defensemen.
* Las Vegas hosts Victoria on Monday.
Long Beach Ice Dogs
* Dogs have exceeded 2003-04 totals for points (51), wins (23), home and
road wins (10).
* Marco Rosa's 36 points (18g-18a) tie him for sixth among ECHL rookies.
* Long Beach visits Idaho on Friday and Saturday.
San Diego Gulls
* Gulls power-play ranks third in the ECHL at 19.2 percent (41-for-213).
* Sylvain Deschatelets has12 points (4g-8a) in his last 10 games.
* San Diego visits Wheeling on Friday and Sunday.
Victoria Salmon Kings
* Brad Dexter leads the Salmon Kings in assists (19) and power-play assists
(12).
* Victoria is winless in its last 17 games, going 0-15-2 to set an ECHL
record.
* Victoria visits Las Vegas on Monday before hosting Fresno on Wednesday,
Friday, and Saturday.
American Conference - South Division
Florida Everblades
* Brad Church ranks third in the ECHL in plus-minus rating (+19).
* All-Star starter Matt Hendricks is tied for the rookie lead in scoring
with 40 points (19g-21a).
* Everblades host Augusta on Tuesday before traveling to Augusta on Friday
and Saturday.
Gwinnett Gladiators
* Gladiators power play is tied for eighth in the ECHL at 17.7 percent
(31-for-175).
* ECHL All-Star Jeff Campbell ranks fourth in rookie scoring with 37 points
(17g-20a).
* Gwinnett hosts Pee Dee on Tuesday and Pensacola on Saturday while
visiting South Carolina on Friday.
Louisiana IceGators
* Wes Mason leads the team with 41 points (19g-22a).
* IceGators All-Star goaltender Nathan Marsters ranks second in the ECHL
with 930 saves.
* Louisiana hosts Pensacola on Wednesday and travels to Texas on Friday.
Mississippi Sea Wolves
* Goaltender Matt Underhill has won eight of his last nine starts and has
two shutouts in that span.
* Mike Jarmuth is tied for second among ECHL defensemen with nine goals.
* Mississippi hosts Texas on Tuesday and Pensacola on Friday before
traveling to Texas on Saturday.
Pensacola Ice Pilots
* All-Star starter Corey Neilson leads ECHL defensemen in game-winning
goals (3), goals (10), assists (25), and points (35).
* All-Star forward Tyler Beechey has a five-game assist streak (8a), dating
back to January 22.
* Pensacola visits Louisiana on Wednesday, Mississippi on Friday and
Gwinnett on Saturday.
Texas Wildcatters
* Wildcatters goaltender Phil Osaer ranks third in the ECHL with 862 saves.
* Andrew Ianiero leads Texas with 31 points (12g-19a).
* Texas visits Mississippi on Tuesday and hosts Louisiana on Friday and
Mississippi on Saturday.
National Conference - North Division
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies
* Jason Notermann is tied for the ECHL lead with 10 power-play goals.
* Atlantic City has a plus-minus rating of -36 in January after being +59
in December.
* Bullies host Peoria on Wednesday, travel to Johnstown on Friday and
return home to play Peoria on Saturday.
Dayton Bombers
* Bombers are 1-4-0 in the last five games, four of which were decided by
one goal.
* Dayton's power play was 8.9 percent in January after going 17.8 percent
in December.
* Bombers host Reading on Friday and play at Charlotte on Saturday.
Johnstown Chiefs
* Johnstown is tied for the league lead with five home shorthand goals.
* Chiefs power play was 22 percent in December, but dropped to 9.4 percent
in January.
* Chiefs play host to Atlantic City on Friday, San Diego on Saturday and
Peoria on Sunday.
Peoria Rivermen
* Peoria has killed 29 straight power plays and ranks fourth on the penalty
kill at 86.9 percent.
* Rivermen's power play is at 21.2 percent in January, up from 12.3 percent
in December.
* Peoria plays at Trenton on Tuesday, at Atlantic City on Wednesday and
Saturday, and at Johnstown on Sunday.
Reading Royals
* Royals power play is 18.7 percent in January after being 11.5 percent in
December.
* Ryan Kinasewich leads Reading with 35 points (14g-21a) and 11 power-play
points (11).
* Royals play at Dayton on Friday and at Trenton on Sunday while hosting
Toledo on Saturday.
Toledo Storm
* Toledo has a plus-minus rating of +30 in January after finishing -60 in
December.
* Storm's Scooter Smith has 10 points (4g-6a) in 13 games with Toledo.
* Toledo plays at Trenton on Friday and at Reading on Saturday and hosts
San Diego on Wednesday.
Trenton Titans
* Jerramie Domish leads the team with five assists and a +6 rating in his
last four games.
* Rick Kowalsky got his fifth game-winning goal in 4-3 overtime win against
Atlantic City on Saturday.
* Titans host Peoria on Tuesday, Toledo on Friday, Wheeling on Saturday and
Reading on Sunday.
Wheeling Nailers
* Joe Exter posted two 1-0 shutouts in his last three games (3-0-0).
* Nailers are tied for the most one-goal games in the league with 25
(15-8-2).
* Nailers host San Diego on Friday and Sunday while visiting Trenton on
Saturday.
