John Doolan Named ECHL All-Star Game Equipment Manager Finalist

Bakersfield, Calif - The Bakersfield Condors announced that equipment manager John Doolan was selected by the ECHL to work at the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game.
Doolan, however, has regrettably opted-out of participating, as the Condors are scheduled to depart for Victoria, British Columbia the morning of the All-Star game.
"It's a privilege to receive such an offer since it's voted on by your peers, but my loyalty is with the Condors," said Doolan. "If I went and worked the game I would be a nervous wreck that things were not packed and taken care of correctly. First and foremost, I want to make sure that the Bakersfield Condors are handled in the most professional manner."
Doolan's extensive hockey background includes 30-years as a professional equipment manager. He worked for the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage (2002-2005), United Hockey League's Quad City Mallards (2000-2002), International Hockey League's Kansas City Blades (1996-2000) and NHL's New York Islanders (1990- 1996). Doolan was also the travel coordinator for the Mallards, Blades and Islanders.
On Friday, January 5th, the Condors are in Las Vegas to take on the Wranglers for a 7:05 p.m. game. They return home on Saturday, January 6th, for a 7 p.m. tilt against the Victoria Salmon Kings. It's Backpack Giveaway, with the first 2,000 kids, 12 and under, receiving a Condors backpack, courtesy of Telemundo-11 and Goodwill Industries.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
