Iowa Wild Forward Mason Shaw Set to Make Season Debut

DES MOINES, IOWA - Iowa Wild Head Coach Tim Army announced today forward Mason Shaw will be in the lineup against the San Jose Barracuda Friday night and will make his 2019-20 season debut.

Shaw, 21, missed the first 40 games of the season as he recovered from a knee injury suffered at Milwaukee in Game 3 of the Central Division Semifinals in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs. In his rookie season, the 5-foot-9, 179-pound native of Wainwright, AB recorded 33 points (8g, 25a) while playing in all 76 contests, becoming just the third rookie and fifth Wild player to play every game of a season. Shaw led all rookies in assists and scoring and ranked second in PIM (43) and shots (124).
