
Iowa Pair Reassigned

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Dallas Stars have reassigned Iowa right wing BJ Crombeen to the Idaho Steelheads and that Iowa has reassigned left wing Janos Vas to their ECHL affiliate in Idaho.
The 6-2, 212-pound Crombeen was selected by Dallas with their 3rd choice, 54th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. In 31 games with the Iowa Stars, he has registered four goals and five assists, including the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win at Peoria on November 26th. Crombeen recorded the first penalty in Iowa Stars franchise history (roughing, :47 into 1st period) on October 6th.
Drafted by the Dallas Stars with their second pick, 32nd overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Janos Vas (YAH-nosh VAHSH) made his North American Professional debut on October 6th. The 6-1, 203-pound rookie has notched one goal and four assists in 21 games for Iowa: 21(1/4/5). While with Idaho, the Hungarian native recorded two goals, three assists and 11 PIM's in five games: 5(2/3/5)11.
